Built by patients, for patients

The AI that finally
understands your conditions

ChatDys was born out of frustration — years of dismissal, misdiagnosis, and searching for answers in a medical system that rarely understands dysautonomia and its overlapping conditions. We built the resource we wish had existed.

Our Story

We were patients first

ChatDys was created by and for the dysautonomia and chronic illness community. Our founding team includes patients living with POTS, MCAS, and EDS — people who spent years searching for answers, navigating dismissive medical encounters, and piecing together information from scattered research papers, patient forums, and specialist appointments.

We saw a gap: the medical AI tools that existed were built for general audiences and consistently failed to understand the nuance of autonomic nervous system disorders, mast cell conditions, and connective tissue diseases. Symptoms were dismissed. Interactions between conditions were missed. The lived experience of patients was invisible.

So we built ChatDys — an AI assistant trained specifically on the conditions that affect our community, with a knowledge base curated by patients and validated against peer-reviewed medical literature.

How It Works

Four layers of intelligence in every answer

ChatDys doesn't just query one source — it synthesizes across four knowledge layers to give you the most complete, current, and community-validated answer possible.

Step 01

You ask a question

Type any question about your symptoms, conditions, treatments, or daily management. ChatDys understands medical terminology and plain language equally well.

Step 02

Four knowledge sources activate

ChatDys simultaneously queries our curated RAG knowledge base, PubMed & Europe PMC medical literature, community forum discussions, and a live web search for the most current information.

Step 03

You get a structured answer

Responses are organized into a Quick Answer, Deep Dive with citations, Live Research from current sources, and Key Takeaways — so you can read at the depth you need.

Step 04

Treatments are surfaced automatically

Any supplement, medication, or intervention mentioned in the response is automatically linked to its full entry in the Treatments database — with dosage guidance, evidence level, and community ratings.
